Julia Prendergast

Julia has a PhD in Writing and Literature. Julia is a fiction addict. Her stories have been longlisted, shortlisted and published: Lightship Anthology 2 (UK), Glimmer Train (US), TEXT (AU) Séan Ó Faoláin Competition, (IE), Review of Australian Fiction, Australian Book Review Elizabeth Jolley Prize, Josephine Ulrick Prize (AU). Julia’s novel is forthcoming with the University of Western Australia Press (UWAP). Julia’s theoretical work focuses the work of the unconscious in narrative composition: examples have been published in TEXT (AU) and New Writing: The International Journal for the Practice and Theory of Creative Writing (UK).
