Workshop

Writers’ Night School: Writing for Children

Learn how to break into kids writing, tackle tricky subject matter and make it fun! How can you write compelling middle fiction, and find an audience for it? Why is it important to centre the story around the child and give them agency? Participants will compare childhood classics, talk about tone and intention, and consider how to target different ages. This workshop will comprise exercises, discussions and question time.
