Jes Layton

Jes is an emerging Queer novelist and veteran fanfiction author. Melbourne-based, she is interested in writing Australia as a mythic place and geeks out about fantasy, Sci-fi, mythology and things that taste ‘nice’.   When Jes is not writing, she is probably reading, cooking, or contemplating the various nuances of the fictional characters and worlds that she loves.   Jes is currently refining her debut novel Proof for publication, is the Administration Intern for Voiceworks magazine and graduated RMIT with a Bachelors in Creative Writing.  Try as she might, she is unable to keep her house plants alive for very long.  Naming them only makes the loss worse.
