Georgia Symons is a writer and game designer with a background in theatre and film-making. Her practice has a focus on youth arts, and on developing new audiences for new forms. Recent works include: Caliban (theatre, Western Edge Youth Arts); Shakespeare’s Trilogy (theatre, Western Edge); Follow Me (interactive installation, Melbourne Fringe keynote program: Uncommon Places); Platform at La Mama Collaboration (theatre, Platform Youth Theatre & La Mama); TurboDetective 3000: A Seaside Mystery (live game, National Young Writers Festival). She is a 2015 Hot Desk Fellow at the Wheeler Centre, and holds a Master’s in Writing for Performance from the VCA.
