Amie Kaufman

Amie Kaufman is a New York Times and internationally bestselling young adult author, whose award-winning books have been published in 24 countries. Her first series, co-authored with Meagan Spooner, began with These Broken Stars, which was a NYT and Australian bestseller, named the HuffPo’s best YA book of the year, and won that year’s Aurealis Award for Best YA Novel. Her new series, co-authored with Jay Kristoff, began in 2015 with Illuminae, which was an instant NYT and Australian bestseller, and named to multiple best of year lists. Both series are in development for TV and film. Amie has degrees in history, literature, law and conflict resolution, and lives in Melbourne with her husband, their rescue dog, and an extremely large personal library.
