Nicole Hayes

Nicole Hayes is an award winning author of YA novels The Whole of My World (YABBA shortlist, INKY longlist), One True Thing (Children’s Peace Literature Award and a CBCA Notable Book) and most recently, A Shadow’s Breath. She co-edited an anthology of writing, From the Outer: Footy Like You’ve Never Heard It with Alicia Sometimes, and together they collaborated on A Footy Girl’s Guide to the Stars of 2017. Alicia and Nicole form two-sixths of the groundbreaking all-female footy podcast, The Outer Sanctum. Nicole runs various writing programs and regularly writes and speaks about writing, gender, sport, politics and music.
