Lawrence Leung

Nerdy comedian/screenwriter from ABC1 comedies Lawrence Leung’s Unbelievable and the AFI Award-nominated Choose Your Own Adventure. He has written for The Family Law (Season 2), The Chaser’s War on Everything and Maximum Choppage (ABC2) and has been nominated for AWGIES for adapted screenplay and TV comedy. His standup shows have toured Edinburgh, London’s Soho Theatre and the Sydney Opera House and have received The Age Critics’ Award, Sydney Comedy Festival Best Australian Act and Melbourne Fringe Best Solo Show Award. His feature film Sucker (adapted from his award-winning one-man show) was shortlisted for the 2017 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards (Scriptwriting).
