Mother Tongue

What does one do when trapped between two cultures: reading and writing in one language, but feeling and remembering in another? How can one language or way of knowing elevate itself over another? This one-on-one conversation will explore how the act of translation can be used as a tool of decolonisation and free writers from linguistic confinement.
