Vidya Rajan

I’m a writer, performer and theatre-maker from Perth now calling Melbourne home. I like working across a number of genres and forms including live art, comedy, improvisational and devised performance, and increasingly writing for the screen.Recent works include: Solidity (VCA play readings 2016), Asian Ghost-ery Store (Melbourne Fringe Award 2015) and Friendquest (Perth Fringe World Best Theatre nominee 2015). I’m currently completing my Masters in Writing for Performance at the VCA, and undertaking a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowship 2016 to adapt my stage play Asian Ghost-ery Store into a webseries. I am an MTC Connect Ambassador for 2017.
