Jasmeet Kaur Sahi is a Melbourne-based writer, editor and academic. She moved from India to Melbourne five years ago to study creative writing and editing at a master’s level at the University of Melbourne. She has written for the ABC, ArtsHub, Eureka Street, Peril Magazine and the Stella Prize. Her interests are in the arts, feminism, food, migration and social justice. She writes freelance and has taught nonfiction writing at RMIT University. As part of Asia TOPA, in the role of a festival producer with Melbourne Writers Festival, she produced the Melbourne version of the Jaipur Literature Festival, JLF Melbourne, in February 2017. She is currently the Program Coordinator at Melbourne Writers Festival. She tweets @JasmeetSahi
