Simmone Howell is the author of YA novels Notes from the Teenage Underground, Everything Beautiful and Girl Defective. Her next book Take Three Girls, a collaboration with Cath Crowley and Fiona Wood, will be out in September. Simmone’s non-fiction appears regularly in The Age. She is currently writing a memoir about her formative books, films and icons. Simmone lives in Melbourne, where she drinks coffee and watches reruns of Dallas.
