Harry Saddler

Harry Saddler was born in Canberra and has lived in Melbourne since 2004. He studied biology at the Australian National University, focusing particularly on ecology and bird behaviour. His flash-fiction has appeared in The Lifted Brow and The Canary Press, and his longer fiction has been published by Ginninderra Press, while for his non-fiction nature writing he was joint-winner of the 2014 Melbourne Writers Festival/Blurb Inc. Blog-to-Book Challenge. In 2015 he was shortlisted for The Lifted Brow Prize for Experimental Non-Fiction. His book about the long-distance migration of the eastern curlew will be published by Affirm Press in 2017.
