Claire Mabey

Claire is a festival junkie and book nerd. After studying English and Art History in Dunedin and Wellington, she worked for Brepols Publishing in Belgium, specialising in English publications on Medieval scholarship. In New Zealand, she works across a range of festivals and is currently programming the first National Writers Forum, is co-Director of LitCrawl in Wellington, and is Director of escape! literary festival in Tauranga. Her idol is Hildegard von Bingen, the 12th Century nun. She is an occasional poet, too.
